With the VOCOlinc Ripple and the VOCOlinc MistFlow, the manufacturer already has two humidifiers on offer. Now the range is being expanded with the VOCOlinc VHI as a low-cost model. The product page for this device is already enabled on Amazon.
Like its predecessor, the VOCOlinc VHI has a water tank with a capacity of 2.5 liters. The device is suitable for rooms up to 40 square meters. With a full tank of fuel, it can operate continuously for 12 to 20 hours, depending on the power level. When the tank is empty, the device switches off automatically.
Compared to the previous model, the VOCOlinc VHI has a larger number of physical keys. These allow you to directly set the run time to 2, 4 or 6 hours, turn the light on and off, and select the power level.
Integrated humidity sensor
The volume is supposed to be around 28dB in operation and thus quieter than in a library according to the manufacturer. The VOCOlinc VHI has an integrated humidity sensor that enables automatic control based on the current value. In addition, the device has a child lock to prevent control directly on the device.
The VOCOlinc app allows controlling the humidifier as well as the colored light and creating schedules. Furthermore, the VOCOlinc VHI is compatible with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant via Wi-Fi.
Availability and price
While the VOCOlinc VHI is already available in the US, the product page in Germany has been activated, but the device cannot be ordered yet. At $49.99, the VOCOlinc VHI is less expensive than the VOCOlinc MistFlow.
