Nuki has introduced a new generation of the popular door lock. The Nuki Smart Lock Pro 4 comes with a Matter integrated bridge and longer battery life. A new keypad is also available.

Matter Integration and Extended Battery Life

Almost a year after the first prototype, Nuki has now released the new Smart Lock Pro 4 with Matter. The integrated Wi-Fi bridge connects the lock to all major smart home platforms.

Thanks to Matter, energy consumption is also said to have been reduced by up to 30%, which should result in up to 6 months longer battery life.

Nuki Keypad Pro 2 Comes Without Home Key

The optional Nuki Keypad Pro 2 offers a convenient way to open the door by entering a PIN code or fingerprint. The slim design is specially conceived for integration into doors or walls, but requires precise milling during installation. As an advantage, the surface of the keypad is flush with the door or wall after installation, which ensures a harmonious overall appearance. The stainless steel front also gives the appliance an elegant look.

Nuki Keypad Pro 2

While the fourth generation of the Nuki Smart Lock Pro integrates seamlessly into Apple Home, the new Keypad unfortunately comes without an Apple Home Key. Aqara, on the other hand, has already announced that it is working on Apple Homey Key support for the Smart Lock U200.

Discount for Existing Customers

While you normally have to pay €279 for the Smart Lock Pro 4 and another €349 for the Keypad Pro 2, existing customers can purchase a bundle consisting of the Smart Lock Pro 4 and the Keypad 2 without Pro, which has been available for some time, for €299 instead of €379.

If this is too expensive for you, you can opt for the entry-level model without Pro for €169, but then (for the time being) do without Matter, Wi-Fi module and Power Pack. From 2024, remote access via Thread will also be possible for the entry-level model without an additional bridge.
