Nuki Introduces Smart Lock Pro 4 with Matter Integration and Keypad Pro 2

This week, Nuki presented the latest generation of its popular door lock, the Nuki Smart Lock Pro 4. With Matter integration and an improved battery life of up to 6 months, it offers seamless integration into all major smart home platforms.

The optional Keypad Pro 2 enables convenient door opening via PIN or fingerprint, but does not have Apple Home Key. The special feature: The keypad can be installed flush in the door or wall. Aqara Launches New HomeKit Secure Video Camera

A new HomeKit Secure Video camera from Aqara, the Camera E1, has been available since this week. As the camera does not function as a Zigbee hub, it is slightly cheaper than the previous models. Setup is effortless thanks to the MagicPair function and offers quick integration into the Wi-Fi, even supporting Wi-Fi 6. With 2K recording quality, 360° panning and people detection, the camera delivers sharp images and a wide range of functions.

With an affordable price, numerous functions and the integration of the manufacturer’s own scenes in Apple Home, the Aqara Camera E1 offers excellent value for money and is now available on Amazon.

HomeDevices Now Available in German

HomeDevices, the comprehensive source of knowledge for everything to do with Apple Home, is now fully available in German. With the release of version 4.2, users can use all of the app’s content in German.

Signify Enables Apple Home Support for Hue Secure Contact Sensor

This week, Signify released a firmware update (version 1961076030) for the new Hue Secure contact sensor that enables HomeKit integration.

This update makes the sensor compatible with Apple Home and allows seamless integration into the smart home. However, the Philips Hue Bridge is required. The contact sensor is available in black or white and costs 39.99 euros individually or 69.99 euros as a twin pack.

Onvis Prepares App for New Sensor

Onvis has released an update to its own app that adds support for the new Smart Motion Sensor 2 (SMS2) as well as firmware updates for the HS2 Smart Button and CT3 Contact Sensor to Thread 1.3.

The SMS2, which will support Thread, is expected to be launched at the end of December. The new model was originally due to be released in March. The predecessor is currently available for €22.49 via Amazon.
