SwitchBot has recently released an update for the SwitchBot App and SwitchBot Hub 2. This means that it is now possible to display the temperature and humidity readings from the external SwitchBot Indoor/Outdoor Thermo-Hygrometer directly on the Hub’s display.

The announcement that the sensor will soon be able to be integrated into Matter and thus Apple Home via the Hub 2 with an over-the-air (OTA) firmware update is also a good prospect. This makes it worth buying if you’re looking for a high-quality temperature sensor.

Regarding the Matter update, the SwitchBot Lock is currently on the list. As we heard from our friends at SwitchBot, the Retrofit door lock will receive the corresponding update during July.
