Today we would like to take a look back at the new Matter Certifications the past two weeks. In addition to lamps and intermediate plugs, a water booster pump is also included for the first time.

Irrigation controls, faucets, and even shower fixtures are already familiar to us as HomeKit users. With the Grundfos MA-Scala2, a water booster pump will be added in the future thanks to Matter. This was officially certified just yesterday.

With the MA-Scala2, the pressure in the water pipes can be increased, groundwater can be extracted or rainwater can be used. With a noise level of only 47db, the water booster pump is particularly quiet. Since the already available Grundfos Scala2 water booster pump does not have Smarthome integration, the MA-Scala2 will probably be a new model.

Furthermore, a dimmable Smart Plug from Leviton for the American market, sockets from Onvis and QIACHIP, and a multiple plug from Tapo were certified in the last two weeks.

New firmware has also been approved for the already available Govee M1 LED Strip. In addition, lamps from Arlec and Espressif are among the new additions.

Note that while devices have successfully gone through the Matter certification process, when corresponding firmware updates or new device models will be released is, as always, up to the manufacturers.
