There is some news with Philips Hue. While the Festavia light chain is not expected to be available again until the end of next year, the Lightguide series will start selling soon after a significant delay. In addition, there are to be some price increases again.
Price increases for large products
Let’s start with one of the worse news. As of February 1, 2023, numerous devices are to become more expensive again. Although we do not yet know exactly which products will be involved, it is said to mainly affect larger products.
Supply bottlenecks for Festavia christmas lights
The new Philips Hue Festavia light chain was released in time for the upcoming Christmas. However, it was quickly sold out. The manufacturer has now announced on Twitter that new goods will most likely not arrive until the end of 2023.
Product launch for Lightguide series imminent
The news for the Lightguide series is much more pleasing. The distinctive lamps with light tube inside the glass body in various shapes went on sale already at the end of August. However, due to condensation inside the lamps, sales were quickly discontinued.
At least the variant in the shape of an ellipse should be available again for 99.99€ starting next week. The lamp socket is supposed to be available in black and white for 49.99€.
