Nanoleaf also announced new products at CES in Las Vegas. In the future, the company will be fully committed to the new smarthome standard Matter.

Nanoleaf 4D TV Smarter Kit

With the Nanoleaf 4D TV Smarter Kit, the manufacturer will offer an alternative to the Philips Ambilight in the future. A camera is pointed at the TV picture, which analyzes the displayed colors in real time and transmits them to the light strip.

The light strip comes with a length of up to 5m and supports up to 50 customizable zones. Thanks to Sync+ technology, the colors can also be transferred to other lamps from the manufacturer. In addition, the Lightstrip supports the new Smarthome standard Matter.

The Nanoleaf 4D TV Smarter Kit will launch in the second quarter of 2023 and will be available in two lengths to fit TV sizes 55″-65″ and 65″-85″.

Nanoleaf Skylight

Nanoleaf Skylight is said to be the first modular ceiling lamp that will support the new smarthome standard Matter. The light modules can be arranged individually, as is customary with Nanoleaf.

Besides the brightness, the color, as well as the color temperature, can also be adjusted. Furthermore, the Rhythm Music Visualizer, Screen Mirror, dynamic lighting scenes and group scenes can be used.

The modular ceiling fixture also acts as a Thread border router and has built-in Sense+ sensors that detect motion and ambient light. Nanoleaf Skylight will be launched in the third quarter of 2023.

Nanoleaf Sense+

With the Sense+ Controls series, Nanoleaf aims to offer the world’s first hands-free lighting solution. The solution consists of a wired Smart Light Switch, a wireless Smart Light Switch and the Nala Learning Bridge.

All three products feature integrated motion and ambient light sensors designed to automatically adjust lighting to daily routines and personal schedules.

The Nala Learning Bridge acts as a Thread border router and can also be used as a night light. Sense+ is scheduled for launch in the third quarter of 2023.

The Sense+ products work together with Nanoleaf’s new intelligent Automation Learning Assistant—named Nala—to “learn” your preferences from your everyday usage and routines. Nala is a powerful first-of-its-kind learning assistant creating personalized automations that deliver your perfect lighting exactly when, how, and where you want it. Enjoy predictive actions like turning your lights on/off, seamless brightness and color adjustments, Scene selection based on your preferences, and more. Over time, users will be able to have a truly intelligent and hands-free experience with the smart lighting in their home. Nala’s automated learning technology is enabled via the Nala Learning Bridge; existing Nanoleaf Thread Border Routers will also be upgradeable to work as a Nala Bridge.
