Govee has released the Neon Rope Light for desks, a flexible light tube that should be especially interesting for gamers. From the summer, the device is to be compatible with the new Matter smarthome standard and can then also be integrated into Apple Home.

The Govee Neon Rope Light for desks features 42 controllable segments, 84 LEDs per meter, customizable lighting effects and can display multiple colors simultaneously. In addition, the light is cuttable, with 12 cuttable points that allow a usable length between 214.29 cm and 300 cm.

The manufacturer sees the light strip primarily attached to the edge of desks and thus clearly sets the focus on gamers. This is also underpinned by integration with Razer Chroma and support for the new Govee AI Gaming Sync Box. However, of course, the light can be mounted anywhere else and used independently of games.

The Govee Neon Rope Light is already available on Amazon. On the product page, you can currently activate a coupon that reduces the price by 25€. At this point, we would like to point out once again that the device does not yet support Matter. The update is announced for the summer.
