Everything is new: The SmartApfel app is available in version 5.0

Since a few days the SmartApfel website shines in a new design. Now it’s your SmartApfel app’s turn. The latest update is available for you in the App Store.

Even though we have worked with a lot of love on the new, fresh design, the look is of course not everything. Under the hood, both the website and the app have been brought up to the latest standards. This makes the overall experience smoother for you and provides many new future-proof opportunities for us.

So we can offer you exciting features, smart links between posts, collections to discover, devices, filters and search functions, just to name a few of the new benefits.

We know that it can still be a little creaky in one or the other place, but we will work continuously in the background on possible bugs, improvements and of course new features for you.

This version is a complete redevelopment of the popular SmartApfel app. Everything is new and the user experience has been significantly improved. In addition to faster loading times, an improved device overview with hundreds of HomeKit devices and a fresh design, comments on posts can also be written via the app for the first time.

In addition, we are pleased to announce that SmartApfel is now available in English. If your iPhone or iPad is set to English, the posts can now be read in English. So feel free to share the SmartApfel app with your friends and family if, like you, they’re interested in our posts, deals, devices, reviews and tips about Apple Home. You can find the share button and more in the app settings. 😉
