According to rumors, Apple is working on a new, larger HomePod. Parker Ortolani has taken this as an opportunity to create a concept for a HomePod Max.
The original HomePod was not a big seller with a recommended retail price of €329. This is in contrast to the HomePod mini, which is much cheaper at 99€. In terms of sound, however, the small device naturally cannot keep up, and thus many users would like a larger model again. But what might that look like? Parker Ortolani has thought about this.
Parker has left the form factor unchanged, but added two new colors, starlight and midnight. On the top is a multi-touch display that can be used to control music, answer phone calls and operate HomeKit devices. Early last year, Parker had already applied this concept to the HomePod mini, we reported.
Parker calls the operating system with the new operating concept “homeOS” and thus picks up on the rumors that were repeatedly spread by Apple itself through job postings.
