With the Philips Hue Luster with E14 socket, Philips already offers a small lamp with white tones. In the future, the model, which is particularly suitable for lamps with limited space, could also be available as a colored lamp. A corresponding entry has surfaced at a Korean registration authority.

Especially in the early days of smart lighting, problems could arise due to the space requirements of the additional technology. Although the lamps have now become much smaller, even the Philips Hue E14 in candle shape with a length of 117 mm and a diameter of 39 mm does not fit in every lamp.

Philips Hue E14 vs Philips Hue Luster

In contrast, the Philips Hue Luster is significantly shorter, although slightly wider at 45 mm. This one measures just 77 mm, which is about 35% shorter than its candle-shaped counterpart.

Philips Hue White & Color Luster

At a Korean regulatory agency, our colleagues from HueBlog have now discovered an entry about a new Philips Hue White & Color chandelier, which, as the name suggests, also supports colored light.

The marking on the lamp suggests that the new model is also intended for the EU. Information about the market launch and retail price are not known yet.
